Regina Cyclones At North Shore Lobsters (03/02/2008)

Center fielder Gary Matthews Jr had 4 hits and Curt Schilling pitched 8 strong
innings as the North Shore Lobsters defeated the Regina Cyclones by a score
of 5 to 1 at Camden Yards.

North Shore set the tone of the game in the first inning scoring 4 runners on
3 hits.  That early run support was enough for Schilling(4-1) and North
Shore.  North Shore had 13 hits for the night while Regina had 3.  

Jason Schmidt(1-1) was charged with the loss.  He was unable to control the
North Shore offense and allowed 12 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings.

The Lobsters evened the series at one game each as the series moves back to Regina
for games three, four, and five. Depending on how those three games turn out the
series will return again to North Shore for games six and seven if they are necessary.
