Catcher Geovany Soto smashed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the North Shore
Lobsters smashed the overmatched hopeless Riverton Wolverines, 13 to 3.
 
Soto had a big evening at the plate.  He cleared the fences for a two-run home
run in the 4th inning, smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 9th of the
season) in the 6th inning and doubled in the 8th inning.  North Shore
provided plenty of action in the 3rd inning with 4 runs on 6 hits.  North
Shore simply wore out the Riverton pitching staff, scoring in 6 different
innings.  
 
The victory was credited to Jeremy Guthrie(2-3) who went 8 innings, allowing 3
runs. Jarrod Washburn(2-8) took the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 11 hits
and 2 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.
