Randy Winn smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the pitiful Riverton Wolverines
were badly beaten by the New York Eggmen, 17 to 5.
 
Winn enjoyed a big day at the plate.  He laced a single in the 1st inning,
smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 3rd inning and lofted a three-run
bomb (his 8th of the season) in the 3rd inning.  New York bats were hot in
the 3rd inning which saw them plate 10 runs on 9 hits.  New York finished
with 19 hits while Riverton ended up with 10.  
 
Matt Garza(8-3) went 7 innings allowing 5 runs for the win. The loss was
charged to Dana Eveland(2-4).  He was touched for 12 hits and 3 walks in 2
and 1/3 innings.
