The South Elgin River Bandits defeated the pathetic Riverton Wolverines by a
score of 6 to 3 at Coors Field.
Paul Byrd(5-4) contributed a pedestrian performance to earn the win. He went
5 and 1/3 innings allowing 6 hits and no walks. South Elgin had 15 hits for
the afternoon while Riverton had 9.
Byrd got help from Brian Fuentes who was credited with his 15th save. Dana
