Shortstop Derek Jeter had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Riverton Wolverines
beat the North Shore Lobsters by a score of 8 to 6.
 
Riverton tallied 4 runs in the top of the 3rd inning.  The critical plate
appearance was by Bengie Molina who quieted the home crowd when he clubbed a
three-run home run (his 12th of the season).  Jason Marquis(3-6) got help
from B.J. Ryan who pitched a perfect ninth and was credited with his 5th
save.  
 
Jeremy Guthrie(0-1) was charged with the loss.  He allowed a few too many
baserunners giving up 6 hits and 2 walks in 3 and 1/3 innings.  
 
'Thankfully we got ourselves a win', Marquis said.  'It's great to be back on
the winning side of things.'
